Our basic offerings for school visits include a tour of the barn, a craft activity, a pumpkin to take home, and an age-appropriate agricultural lesson. Your class can also make a scarecrow as a teambuilding activity to display inside or outside of your classroom. Hiking trails and a picnic area allow you to have a personalized lesson or social gathering.

TheFarm-to-Table educational exhibit and activity area will be part of your tour. Our new Farm to Table exhibit lets kids pretend to harvest food on a farm, buy and sell it in the Pure Catskills market, cook and serve up dinner. All groups will be given a tour of our Buy Local play area to experience where our food comes from. Farm to Table…Come Play with your Food at Maple Shade Farm this fall!
