There are only two important steps to

Your wedding day is your day. You can do all the things, or scrap tradition and do something entirely new. What matters is that you honor what's important to you and script your day with what has meaning and joy.

It's so important to have a safe space for your wedding day, one where you feel like you're in your own beautiful bubble and can let yourself open up. Here at Maple Shade 1785, the pride weddings we've hosted have been some of the most fun, yummiest, and meaningful weddings we've experienced.

With the global celebration of pride month, there is so much inspiration for same sex marriages on the web. So many couples have shared what they did at their wedding (like walking down the aisle, outfit inpo, etc.) Truly, it is so exciting to witness all of the creativity.

The photos in this post were taken by the incredible For the Lovers Photo here in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of Delhi, NY.

Maple Shade 1785 is an award-winning and idyllic wedding venue in Upstate NY at the historic Maple Shade Farm. The stewards and hosts of this farm and these events are Jay & Abby Wilson, who know a thing or two about love stories.
