Where is Maple Shade located? Located in Delhi, New York in the Catskills region, Maple Shade offers the perfect destination for your wedding. The property offers a centuries old barn, a large pond, an apple orchard, and fields surrounded by lush greenery in the summer and incredible foliage in the fall. Catskill Mountains surround the farm creating a cozy ampitheater all your own.
Do you have onsite accommodations? We put all our efforts and focus into throwing you an unforgettable bash. We opened our business in 2008 to bring tourism and dollars to our small area. When you stay and eat elsewhere during the stay you are boosting our friends and neighbors' business dreams too! Staying off-site also allows for privacy and brunch on your time schedule. Stop back anytime to gather personal items, lost phones, and pictures.
Do you host rehearsal dinners and bunch? We can add that to your package but we do know some other great spots to host these events allowing you and your guests to soak up our corner of the Catskills!
Do you have partner vendors you work with? Maple Shade has cultivated numerous relationships with the highest-quality vendors. We will provide you with a list of vendors for every part of your day. Upon booking, resources will become available for you to begin planning.
What's the weather like in The Catskills? Our season goes from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Upstate weather includes daily breezes and cooler nights. The sunsets are amazing and the stars shine. Temperatures in the area range from 65-85 during the summer and 60-75 in early fall. Auxillary heat and cooling can be added as needed. If rain is in the forecast, our first decision is to delay the ceremony. In case of the rare wash-out, we have three beautiful ceremony locations indoors (sometimes even used on nice days). Rainy days don’t have to ruin a celebration with all of the indoor spaces we have available.
Is there a curfew? Our place is yours with a flexible curfew. You and your guests are free to explore the estate at your leisure. Dance under the stars!
